Billing & Insurance Information
We accept most major insurances including Medicare, Independence Blue Cross, Personal Choice, Keystone Healthplan East, Aetna, Cigna, AmeriHealth, United Healthcare, Keystone Mercy, Worker’s Compensation, and Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA). Please contact the office at 610.789.0150 to check if we participate in your particular plan. You will need to bring your insurance card or other health coverage information to your visit. If we are not in your plan then full payment is expected and appreciated at the time of service. Many plans require a co-pay on your part and the co-pay is expected at the time of service.
There are many new “rules” for both the physician and patient that are dictated by the insurance carriers that can, at times, be a source of inconvenience and frustration. We don’t make these rules but must follow them. If you are enrolled in an HMO, you will need a referral from your primary care physician before being seen. Most HMO’s do not allow us to take X-Rays in our office, so you may need to obtain them before your visit, thru your primary care physician. If you have questions regarding any bill or invoice received after your office visit please contact our billing service, Doctors Billing Clerk at 215-947-2023.
